Converted chaos lord on deamonic steed

This is my soon to be Chaos general

Colortheme through the army is red, brass and black.

some basic conversions on the rider and steed, headswap (who in the hells sculpted that TINY Archon head?!?) Extensive scraping on the riders chest and a weaponswap.. oh! and the bridle is greenstuff from scratch

Having som problem with deciding which shield to use. any suggestions?

nice mini & conversion.
the red cloak looks really good
the fur is great....love the color change.
the horse looks good in the blueish/grey but would pop more with a few more highlights.

sweet i love the lord of end times.
imo i would use the crom the conquerer shield as it is very nice. only prob is that is a right hand one so youd have to mod it.
boyo i have got to get one of these.

@ Evil bones, Crom\'s shield! that looks lika a good replacement, I\'ll have to look into it IRL first though but it looks promising, hopefully that will work, if not...

I think you could use some color on the base to set the whole mini off

Well, I haven\'t painted the complete army yet.

But I suppose I could take some shots of the stuff that\'s finished, twenty chaos warriors

...err, eh finsihed in the manners that they ain\'t based yet (having trouble with that too)

@ Manus - Yeah! old! rargh!...

About the basing, First of i was set for brown basing, And it whould work well with the lords base.

But since the other models in the army will wear mainly brass(and not mount gigantig black deamonic steeds) I think the base will look too much the same as the figure...

So I\'m tempted by snow, but I havent seen an ideal snowmaterial yet, All that\'s close to looking good is the GW stuff, and that seems to take several layers to look real good.
