Converting Raindancer the Pegasus for a rider?

Hello again,

I purchased the beautiful Reaper mini, Raindancer by Sandra Garrity, in order to use it for Warhammer. I want to put a knight with a lance on Raindancer. When I look at the mini, the wing seems too large for the rider to either sit in front or in back of the wing. I am confused how to make this conversion. Does anyone have any experience modifying this mini so that it can be riden?

Below is the link for the mini:

Thanks for the help! :bouncy:

Not really how a warrior should sit, but still an idea...
Have you thought about using a female miniature? A Joan of Arc so to speak. You could avoid cutting away the wings by having her sit crouched on the back, ie. with her knees on the wings, a bit like this: (silly picture, but I hope you catch my drift)

Or you could try to make her ride the horse \"lady-like\" , ie. sideways, like this:

But with the knees higher up: like the new skinks on terradons.

Hope this helps :)

I honstly don\'t think there are any other options. Moving the wings back would make it look strange. If I were you, I\'d take Tuubje\'s advice. (by the way, I prefer the lady position.)

maybe you could try to put him with the legs in front of himgoing over the wing. Duno how to explain it very well but you could try it. Or just cut of his legs and make up a story about how he lost both his legs in battle and now goes around with is faithfull pegasus. lol

ok well how about....

get a jewelers saw and cut the wings off the model completely. see how far forward you can have the knight sit, you will want him extremely far forward. see how the wings will look behind his legs a bit. if it looks odd cut the front of the wings off the long way and rescult it a bit then reattach them.

Any way you do it its not gonna look all that great
