Hey everyone,
I've started on some Wood Elf Glade Guard using an autumn colour theme. Light orange, browns, and pale red. I'm having some difficulty deciding on how to treat the boots and leather bracers that the glade guard wear. So I'd love some suggestions on what colours to utilize. Using GW, Vallejo, or actual colour names would be extremely appreciated.
I tried using Snakebite Leather, drybrushing on Bestial Brown, and highlighting with bleached bone and wasn't too happy with the effect. (thinking bleached bone was a mistake, and should have gone with something not so high a contrast to prevent it from creating a "shine" effect)
Would starting with a lighter brown, and then lightly inking provide a better result?
Thanks in advance,
