Cool mounted Elves with bow?

If you are going to take the GW road you may be best off doing a conversion possibly using either a Silver Helm or even a glade rider and choppping a plastic elf archer torso to fit. As DR said Thunderbolt Mountain are good, or have a look at Black Tree design. Hope that helps.
Night Elf or Dark Elf?
Are you going for something evil, like GW dark elves? Or are you going for something basically good, like WarCraft III\'s Night elves?
If you are going for something like Night Elves then you may want to try GW\'s Kislev Horse Archers. They have some pretty good mount legs, and some decent bare chested bodies. You\'d have to lop off the heads and put on and elf head, but that should be easy enough.
If you don\'t like their torsos, but you like the legs, you may want to try Celtos minis for the torso. I had heard rumors that they were defunct. I don\'t know. If they are still around, I always thought their elves made perfect Night Elves, espeically the chick elves. I don\'t know how they would do in a conversion with GW. It might look stupid. That could also be a pretty involved surgery.
For Dark Elves I haven\'t got much input. Take a mounted dark elf and stick a bow in his hand. Or her hand.

So are you going for a female? It seems all the night elf warriors are female (except the daemon hunter). The men are all druids. Are you going for the Priestess of the Moon model, or are you shooting more for a unique character that you can identify with while you play?
