I have to admit I am not really fussed on the dreadnoughts, the one with the wing things on it reminds me of a chicken and just doesn\'t look right imo.

Ahhh - sometimes it sucks to be poor and wanting. But then again, With this stuff, if I had money I would end up poor and having. Either way.

There are many strange things about that company... like why they sold the 40k rpg and banned fan movies and so many other things...
Once I asked one of those imps at a GW store why GW doesn´t produce the FW stuff in plastic.
It said that they can´t use plastic because only resin could depict the detail... then I wonder why there are plastic Piranhas and plastic Baneblades...
I would love if GW would go for a more realistic style.
Just imagine true scale Space Marines or Cadians that are as cool as the Death Corpes of Krieg.

Well what with the Death korps of Krieg Commisar (MkII) and the Nurgle Scorcerer I guess I\'ll be fighting my way through the Forgeworld Melee at Gamesday.

Oh and Martyn I you can guess which pair of \'Brothers\' from my local store will be buying at least one of those Titans.

They didnt ban the movies just like that. If You are refering to the incident woth ,,Damnatus,, than You shuld know that the situation was more complicated that this and it was a right decision on GW side to do

It was because of the bloody German IP laws as far as I know.
Due to German law all intellectual property belongs to the artist who created something thus GW had to give them the full rights of the 40k universe.
They just can´t do that and that is perfectly traceable.

BUT it is a sad thing none the less.
Those guys put a lot of effort into the project and I wonder why there are so many Star Wars and Trek fanmovies out there and nobody is complaining about intellectual property or copyright laws.

detail

The thing about detail is that, the baneblade and piranha are much easier to do in plastic...let\'s face it...the tanks are NOT he most detailed models that FW makes.

THeir monsters are. The fine details on the Great Unclean One are insane.

While a tank can be done in plastic more easily, I think FW may have a problem doing the super detailed monsters/characters in plastic/metal.

All I\'m gonna say is that they should invest more time and money in quality control. They make nice stuff but the standard of their castings is terrible considering the orbital price tags they put on things. Warping, too many air bubbles:cussing:
