That has some really excellent stuff in it. I wonder how much photographic reference is used and if she paints directly over it? The very photo-real bits and the intentionally 'painterly' bits don't really go together too well.

I believe the impending recipient of her fist mentioned something indelicate that happened to the young lady the previous night, and was questioning her integrity. Something that the young gent in the lower right promised he'd never tell anybody about.

My guess is that she was carrying the pots of limes, he cheesed her off, and she just hauls off, sending the pots into the water bucket and bench, sending everything flying.

I don't think she paints over pictures, It's not that difficult doing "photorealistic" stuff anyway from reference. More difficult infusing some life into it.
