Cool Sculptures

Some may have noticed I have added a blog link to the banner in my signature (thanks Sleipnir!!), I will be using this blog as an easy way to do news and updates for my website (when I get around to finishing that off...) which I always wanted as more of a artist portfolio type page and look before I changed things about. Anyway, please click the link in my signature to go to my blog if you want to see some seriously cool sculpture, by one of my favourite guys.

In order to brighten up the blog further (did a banner and chose a much cooler template to fit in with it) I am going to be hunting high and low on the net for seriously cool art and stuff and will post it to the blog as often as I can. So check back to it now and then!!

Thanks Shawn, there is a link underneath the picture there to see the whole process for the complete sand sculpture - loads more pictures to see.

For my own photos I will try and do more as things pick up , with the speed i do stuff at its hard!! There will be a superb link posted later in the week for some more cool sculptures. I am fairly new to blogging or at least with what you can do with it. Up until recently I didn't know you could set up seperate pages for stuff. I thought it was just one long list of posts and thats it! Anyway, click that link - anyone who doesn't is missing out on some seriously amazing work - this guy is nuts!!!!!

Thats a cool video shaun!! I dont do sand sculpture myself, no - still trying to get to grips with sculpey and greenstuff lol!!! Of course I would love to be able to though. Anyway, if you are reading this do keep your eye on the blog, I have many more cool things to share, and I have now created a page for it all on my blog, a handy place to file everything. I will update in here for a bit when new stuff is on the page. Next month will be a seasonal treat.

New update on the blog with something really special, showcasing the work of sculptor Paul Day. Click the banner below to go to the blog and there is a link to his website and a photo to serve as a taster of a piece I really like my self. The work is not fantasy based, but it is too good not to look at, check out his Battle of Britain piece especially!!

Okay, latest addition to the blog features some amazingly cool Batman Arkham Asylum characters including Killer Croc sculpted by the super talented Anthony Watkins. These are larger scale pieces and wont be available as a resin kit unfortunately. I know I would buy them if they were available. Click the link in the signature to head on over and check them out!

Yeah SkelS, Anthony Watkins is awesome. I have managed to contact him through Facebook, luckily he was on a friends Friend List and a photo of some of his work was over on ChestofColours.com, so I messaged him and found out that he has a website company setting one up for him at the moment. I will endeavour to post more pictures of his work soon, he has some great dragons in the works at the moment.

One more "cool sculpture" feature just added, although it is slightly different and the photo is old, you should still find the picture and story worthy of two minutes of your time - the original Hells Kitchen!!! Click the banner below to go to the blog.
