The tables aren\'t attached. I basically built a backstop for items rolling around on the table---I wanted to make sure I could move the tables if I needed to.
I built the tables from 2x4s and 3/4 plywood---for the most part---then I topped \'em off with hardboard. That way I could paint on it, cut on it...basically whatever--and then rip off the hardboard and replace it when I needed to.
I\'ve probably dedicated a little more room than I need to for my studio, but I entertain other painters every now and then. I prefer to give painting lessons at the house, vs the LGS--as the environment is better for painting. My wife might not feel the same way--but HEY!..this ain\'t about her...

Remember that mine is still new! Not as fulll of stuff as usual yet, either.
And count me in on the love the hat! I have always adored bowler type hats. :]

Yeah, I love the ol bowler too. Paid 64$ for it and wore it for 30 secounds in the rain. The top got all lumpy and soft - grrrrrr. Still looks decent though.
