fork me friendly, imagine being an avid 40k fan while being on the frontline..... if i seen that there would be a joel shaped smoke trail going the opposite way.
Sounds like its being powered by a lawnmower engine!
Although it does bring home the fact that what looks quite cool as a model paint scheme looks utterly rediculous as a real life military vehicle.

Having seen that thing in real life at GD 2008 I can say from my point of view I was UNDERWHELMED.

dxm's right the m113 is the top rated best selling apc to date shame about the aluminium armour killing everyone inside though, think they upgraded but i wil stand outside you test it. the drivers of thes things used to go deaf in one ear because of the engine position. heres a funny story about one of these and a train, a couple o squadies decided to steal one and go for a joy ride, they were chased onto railway lines it couldnt free itself forcing the apc to follow the tracks after the resulting head on collision with a train one of the largest bits recoverd of the squady was a hand which was used ( up the sleeve) of a live person ( unamed) to shake the hand of a translator who when the hand came away promptly fainted on the spot. yes i know not funny really. i know another one about a chap who nicked a stalwart in germany he got half way across the channel before thinking he might not have enough fuel to make it and turned back.

It's the tracks that make it look funny in real life, I think. They just feel too narrow to fit the rest of the vehicle.
