Corks for Handling ....

JesterzUSMC

Recovering Megalomaniac
So I was in Menard's for miniature display shelves and I happened upon Thermos Corks!
1 3/4 inches tall, 1 5/16 thick at the base, and 1 inch on the top.

Perfect for the round slotta bases.
Bought 3, only 99 cents a piece!!

Thought I'd share.

Been using them for years, only over here we get them from Home Brew Centres and call them Demi-John corks.
I find that attaching a section of tubing approx 2" (30mm) makes the holding much easier, especially if you are getting older and have touches of arthritis.
I did have access to old Fax roll tubing which was ideal, but I suppose 30mm plastic plumbing pipe off cuts would be as good.

Good Idea. I use the spice posts from Asda.

The top unscrews and you have a makeshift WIP plinth to take your WIP shots on. ;)
