The current news article says that Jen Haley is the first woman to win the Slayer Weapon at a North American (or perhaps even worldwide) Golden Daemon event.
The 1997 overall winner in Baltimore was Jocelyn Goyette. I suppose it is *possible* that this is a boy\'s name, but I believe it was a woman.
