To non-Americans here: did you know they
elect District Attorneys in the US? So they are about as trustworthy as... say... politicians. Each one promising to be \"tougher on crime\" than the next guy.

Population 1800 and 14 churches, <paints a picture donit>.{ An aside:I think I told you my uncle the priest/missionary came to watch a game of D&D when we were kids- he lasted about an hour when he said, man this is really boring and laughed, left and said have fun boys... not his cup of tea but hardly evil, say he finds all that lotr stuff drab. How is that for a fair crack- it had folks in our extended family close their yaps at least.}
As far as the RCMP went, well there was this putz working for them as an auxillary Constable that started it all(cop wannabe/renta cop etc...). He was a tad fanatical and pissed of at my friends\' parents over them rescuing his daughter from the streets after he had beat her and kicked her out of his house one cold winters\' night. Then he realized that they all were gamers so he used that as a focus of his vengance- including saying it was all a front for demon worship and drug dealing. The cops were all shaking down the biggest nerds in town- in ridiculous fasions. Most parents went in and pleaded for their kids sakes to be left alone- sorta worked for a bit, but it started getting worse when a couple teachers/schools got in on the act and then a couple of the other churches(not mine thank god- kinda \'cause my unc was their boss, and he knew a demon when he saw one believe me).
Lots of things happened over a couple years, but its looong and mostly trite- you can imagine.
Finally an undercover cop looking like a biker (GIS)came to town and hung out in my Karate class- we became friends without me knowing who he really was at first. Most of my friends still don\'t know he was GIS. I was as about clean as you could get in high school- heck I was even going to be a priest, but still considered \"cool\" in most of the harmless badasses books.lol He found out who the real baddies were really fast. Also their ring leader (the rentacop) got pinched and slowed the whole anti D&D ring down fast. Turned out he was a major porn guy including the kiddie variety- sicko bigtime. And, had some involvement with the real drug boys. He didn\'t want the world to find out what his daughter knew, so he tried to make her and everyone who knew her look bad. My new buddy( the GIS man) also found out <to the egg on the detachments face>, he had been getting the packages of movies in brown envelopes at the police staition for years.
As far as I know he was dealt with in the hardest way they possibly could. Swiftly and in full disgrace, him and many other prominent figures. His daughter and wife unfortunately never did testify- but he went away and they were free from his brand of evil for once. You wonder what those types of people are covering up when they point the stick at something harmless.
Man the crap the media doesn\'t cover huh?! I mean the poop is out there and all they want is babyfood. The stuff I have seen in psych and before on the ambulance that gets hushed.
