Good question, Sturm. In my experience, it\'s pretty hard sometimes to justify the expense in properly stocking a new line. It\'s a risk, but without proper stock it\'s too easy for us all to go online and order nowadays.
Honestly, from what I\'ve heard on my side, Privateer and Warmachine is not going buh-bye anytime soon. The last time I talked to my friend Jason, he still sounded pretty busy with things. I mean, I don\'t play and I\'m not really in that community, but they\'re still investing in development and conventions and stuff.
With the availability of the internet and easier access to very large distribution, I think it\'s a lot harder to keep tabs on how a company is doing unless you actually have access to their numbers or something. I mean, a year or two back, I knew next to no one locally who sold WarMachine, but Privateer couldn\'t keep their stuff in stock at their warehouse to save their lives because demand blew their forecast out of the water.
