Could use some advice.

I have been working on this mini over the last week. I asked for some advice on the Reaper forums and got a lot of good suggestions, so I figured I would post here also and see what you all thought.

My idea is to add fingernail outlines on the hands using a slightly darker flesh shade maybe mixed with a bit of brown. I want to add a little darker shading to the green cloak and bring the top highlight up a bit brighter. I also want to maybe add a stripe along the bottom of the robe in the same color blue as his sash and quiver.

This is still very much a WIP, the only parts close to being done are the hair, face, hands, metal armor, and green cloak. I must say, looking at this guy and then looking at my very first mini I posted a few months ago, the difference in quality is staggering! Any constructive suggestions are much appreciated thanks again for your time and thoughts, you are such huge helps to those of us just starting out as painters.

This is a very nice mini. Your idea to add him fingernails could be good so you could try it but I don't know what it would give as I've never seen it on any other mini. You're right about shading and highlighting the green cloak but, I wouldn't paint the stripe with the blue colour you've already used but with a white/beige coulour. Finally, I think you could work a bit more on your metals, one or two washes of the green colour of the cloak, one of black, one of brown.
I've looked at your first mini and I have to say you've improved a lot very quick.

An old adage: "Blue and green should never be seen, without a colour in between".
Better use a more complementary tone of yellow/brown It'd look better in the long run.

As to the fingernails if they are not sculpted on, you'll be looking to add a tiny dot of darker flesh colour with a lighter colour over the top.

The bow string has been suggested quite a bit as well...I am looking into perhaps doing that. I was also thinking of adding mud to the bottom of the cloak, as well as the boots and pants, but I think a brown or yellow stripe might work better...thanks for the compliments and tips.
