The manufacturer is stated in the post (it\'s not available yet, though).

I hope it\'ll be resin (at least the lizard), as it would weigh a ton otherwise.

I was figuring, as all the other Andrea stuff is metal, this would be too. Resin would make WAY more sense, and personally, I\'d MUCH prefer it to be resin (far easier to just HOLD the thing whilst painting it if nothing else)... but I\'m still gonna buy one if it\'s made from resin, metal or neopolitan ice cream.

Actually... The \"After the battle\" bust, the ragged looking crusader that was released earlier this year, is a mix of metal and resin parts. So, Andrea don\'t seem to rule out resin as an option, at least.

Highest ranked mini of all time..

Also andrea do have quite a few resin components in their busts, they also have their resin range..

Woohoo!!!

First ever 9.9!!!

Of course it\'s all down to my comment on the mini, but hey, Freeman can thank me later ;-)

I really do hope it\'s resin... it\'s so much easier to work with when it comes to large miniatures.

I seriously doubt that the shipping would be that much, i know if i shipped something that big it wouldnt cost that much, so why would it cost that much for a company who ship loads of items?

71 Euro is £56.80 at the current exchange rate.

I order stuff from the US and Europe all the time... including some pretty large things (several feet long pieces of material) so unless Andrea are hand delivering it to me using gold plated rocket propelled carrier hummingbirds I\'d expect to pay between £5 and £10 for standard class shipping of this to the UK.

Andrea stuff is available from UK retailers anyway.

By way of example... Arcane sell their stuff and it\'s about 90% of the Euro price in £, so a 50Euro model is about £45 or so (as a rough guide).

With that in mind I\'m guessing they\'d sell a 71 Euro model for about £63 or so?

It\'ll certainly be less than £70 even with postage.

Chill people!

Personally, I think that\'s a reasonable price considering the size of the model... people are getting too used to paying injection moulded prices for large minis thanks to GW\'s purchasing power :-(

Ben

PS: still doesn\'t say if it\'s resin or metal!

Because they are a company alex and they can charge what they like, but there sending it across europe by plane (to the UK)- I just ordered one and yes the shipping is 30 euros - I really carnt wait to get it I may actually start a WIP thread named how to ruin the best mini in the world lol

Sheesh! That makes it £80 :-( Eugh

And not a gold plated rocket propelled hummingbird in sight!

I\'ll wait and see if the wonders of bulk shipping mean it\'s less than that in UK retailers.

Maybe it\'s expensive to ship because it IS metal? Perhaps depleted uranium?

Or maybe they saw the 9.9 rating and figured \"Let\'s go for it dudes!\".

I would pay around that, it compares in size to some of the upper priced Forge World models. My FW Great Unclean one cleared the 200$ Canadian mark with FREE shipping.
