Crazy weather!

Newcastle (or at least Wallsend) doesn\'t seem to be getting any of this, weve had a bit more wind than normal but nothing extreme like everyone is describing.

The hairy old woman across the street did fart though and nearly blew done a tree, but thats as close as we\'ve got.

Strong wind in Germany too. A tree in our garden got uprooted and I saw some former shakily built sheds from our turkish neighbour\'s garden rush towards a new life of excitement and joy. No real harm done though, the tree landed on a hedge and partly on a fence and the wood from the other garden is just kind of gone. Don\'t where it came down.

Attended at training course Yesterday, during the Coffee break saw a PUB sign become dislodged and put a nice dent in a new(ish) Vauxhall Astra. Glad it waisn\'t my car.

Losts of broken slate of the rooves though. BASES

OK What kind of Wood? ie what was the species of tree?

Its pretty calm today, but I think Its doubling up to hit us hard tomorrow
