Creating/molding/casting your own minis?

Hi guys,

I\'m a 15 year veteran painter of GW minis, but new to the site. I\'ll be posting up some pics when I get a digital camera with a macro lens. In fact, I\'ll add post to see what you guys recommend?

My questions is, I\'d like to have a crack at sculpting and producing my own minis (inspired from what I see here), I\'ve sculpted before, but never on such a smale scale. How does one go about it? The whole process explained would be really great (materials / tools used for sculpting, the molding / casting process, etc.)

ok the first thing to do is scour the faq\'s on 1list sculpting, its a yahoo group, then get stuck in and post something, that way people can tell you where your going wrong and where your going right.

Unfortunately....


I read all thosearticles and I sitll suck at sculpting. I geus the best way is experience and trial and error. When I tryed sculpting something I had to do it about 10 times before I got it somewhat right.
