Awww, adorable. You could try working some more contrast into the figure. Being quite cartoony you could really push the contrast right up there.

Thank you you for the input! I'm relatively new to painting and so when it comes to highlights and shadings and doing things with a lot of contrast, I won't lie.... I get SUPER intimidated and scared to do things like that. The dragon blade model was my first time really trying highlights.

I read and watch a ton of tutorials but just panic when it comes to that haha. I do airbrush but all these have been by hand because I paint a ton at work.

I understand the feeling, its a complex process that I am still trying to wrap my brain around. The best way to go about it is start slow, and work your way up. First I tried experimenting with just highlights and washes. Now that I have a better idea of how to do that (still trying to improve on it) I'm trying to learn shading and glazing. There is no reason to try and learn it all at once, break it down and learn each step/technique individually and then bring everything you learned together. Doing that you will see your work improve by leaps and bounds.
