Things what I likes: The sculpting for sure. The texture of the hide on the brown one/ the cool scales and horns too. I also like the colour and shading on the brown one. The war paint is nice too.
Where to work more: The red one needs work on the painting. The colour used to shade isn't giving enough contrast or maybe it's just too muddy. Red is a tough color though. And the base, needs a bit more highlighting and as much attention as the minis. Kinda feels like ya mailed it in there ;)
I see a lot of promise in what you are doing and think you just need to practice and refine the techniques you are using. For example, don't just apply the wash everywhere and let gravity take over, try to put it where you want the shading and build it up in layers.
Keep at it and I look forward to seeing what else you have in store fro us :)

Pros: Great claws and features! Eyes! I have dabbled in sculpting and getting the hands and faces is definitely the hardest part. I love the rocky scales!

Cons: The paint job is rough enough that it is hard to judge the sculpt. Sorry, I hope that doesn't sound mean that is not my intention. A lot of folks post pictures of an unpainted sculpt. I think that is acceptable. Or if you wanted to have a basic paint job that showed off your sculpt try painting with just the GW washes over primer. The leaping ones jumping leg looks a little static. Maybe a more extended joint and some more defined/flexed muscle and ligament.

Zab thanks again for your quick response to my call for help. I really appreciate your advice. I agree with both of you that the paint job is a bit on the rough side especially on the red one. I really like the ridge line of the back on the red one but I was having a tough time with the red paint job. As for the leaping leg I never realized that until you mentioned it so that's something I will try and work on in the future. Demihuman thanks for those links. I am off to check them out and I am eager to spruce this guy up some more. Thanks again for the insight and if you have any more thoughts or suggestions please feel free to lay it out there.

Not sure what my next project should be. I am probably going to work on painting my skaven. Do you have any suggestions on what my next sculpt should be? Does anyone else have suggestions of what they would like to see?
