Here is a pic of Crom from GW Warhammer. I went for an overall NMM feel for this one, particularly bronze for the armour.

Can some of the guys / girls on this site give me a few tips / pointers on how to improve.

Hi JayeL....

....welcome to the forums! :D ;) That\'s a cool looking figure you have there, the NMM has worked well,as has the rest of the figure! Not much in the way of constructive criticism exept to say a few more tones on the silver NMM will give more definition. Alltogether it\'s a fine piece, the base is cool and I love the snow on his shoulders.....nice one!

*Edit*--Been and voted by the way! :D

Hmm well I think that this is pretty nice.

I like the base a lot. One thing you might want to do there is put some footprints in the snow behind him. You could also put some Feild grass or static grass around the base of the sign.

Did Mr Crom behead the guy that he is standing on or is it an empty helmet? If it is a beheaded head then some blood on the ground and on the sword might be nice.

The NMM looks pretty nice. Much better than any of my attempts. :D The highlight on the axe looks a little strong (thick) you may want to tone that down some.

I like the horns and the cloak. Did you drybrush the cloak? The snow on the sholders is a nice touch.

The armor and the sheild while they look nice could also use A little highligh to make them pop.

Well I hope this may help some. Overall a very nice mini. Oh and welcome to the forums.

I really like this, the nmm is good throughout the model, and it\'s quite hard to find critisisms for it other than what\'s already been said so i wont even try.

been and voted aswell :)

Cheers, joe

Thanks for the input and voting guys.

Drake - the helmet is empty, the visor is actually raised up on the figure and there is definately no head andthus no blood.

The cloak was drybrushed yes, I\'m not a big fan of drybrushing but the cloak was very heavily textured and so drybrushing seemed the best way to do it.

Thanks for the warm welcome to the forums.
