Crybrushing?

Seems like a typo to me. You sure the artist wasn\'t talking about drybrushing?

Edit: hm, you qualified with \'not drybrushing\' while I was still typing. Rat. :p

I was crybrushing not long ago.

I got out this totally unused Winsor Newton Kolinsky sable brush and set it down while applying PVC glue to a base with a cheap brush - only I grabbed the wrong brush, and dipped my as yet unused kolinsky sable brush in glue.:(:(
:(:(:(:(

hmmm....

i think crybrushing is what happens after I see a miniature I just painted.... I start to cry and crack my brush over anything I can find....

I tried to \'google search\' and it gave me this response....

Did you mean: dry brushing?

My money\'s on a typo....
C is next to D after all:duh:

Unless they\'re talking about the sort of damp, overbrushing version of drybrushing. It is a pretty useful technique for picking out detail without getting that powdery effect....

My money\'s on a typo, the keys are close together and even if you\'re a four-finger typist you use the same finger for C that you do for D.

Why use a simple expression like overbrushing when you can create a cretinous one - for example \'tweening\'?:D

Mebbe he meant \"Spybrushing\"?
Y\'know, the Patriot Act requires survalliance
on suspicious miniatures.....

yeah...

who is this Artistic Muse that we are supposed to contact?

Are they listed in the book??

I\'ve been moved to tears a couple of times when delving into my creative process, but it was mostly because of the dremel tool making contact with my flesh.

This definition should be filed under the long ago \'More proof that artists are wankers\' thread.
