Crystella's got her groove back.....pictures to prove it too!

Hey I'm back and I've put down my pony making tools and picked up the paint brushes. I'm still waiting on the ladies to turn up for their new clothes (still got awhile to wait) so I've decided to carry on with one that I had started back in 2012 :eek: Archaon the Everchosen. His horse has been de-demonized and Archaon has been turned into a Lord (new sword & head. Chaos symbols removed)

I've got to get a move on with this one as its for a show in October, a miniature horse show :) .

Just a shame I've got to buy the model again as I've misplaced his left arm and shield :(

A) Thanks for the title of the post. I've sprayed tea clear across the room :)
B) Let me check my bits box tonight, that torso looks quite familiar, i can't promise anything, but if i have the bits I'll send them your way for sure.

Thank you Marjedi! Glad to be back proper and painting again. Just doing the head of this guy and then I'll upload more pictures. Got a unit of 5 black knights after this one :)

The Vampire Counts undead Black Knights?

I had forgotten how fun it was to paint undead minis, and painting Nagash has been a wakeup call.

I've had 2 sets, as I was planning Hexwraths and then 'misplaced' them so picked some more and did those ones up as the knights. These will be done on a snowy base so they will stand out as 'The Nightmare Knights'

Your bits box is very sweet looking but sorry I'm siding with DR as in your man card is revoked *shakes her head* and you have managed to derail my thread >.<

Sorry about the thread. My man card was destroyed long ago, this was just a fake anyhow :p Love the conversion on the archon by the way. Looks just like I picture a wildling from Game Of Thrones :)

Eh, man cards are overrated. They don't even get you discounts or nothin'.

Crystella, the pony's looking nice! And what I can see of the rider's face seems well-done. I'd love to see some brighter pictures.

Well the Horseman is on hold til the bits I've order come in.....so onwards with my next project.....e2046's Xiao-Mei for Webmonkey's Anime October challenge. 39 piece kit >.< the fun and joy.
Here she is (I won't be doing this colour scheme) and the prepping joy.

After prepping and priming, I decided to get to work on the face and hair. Her eyes did come with a transfer to use but never use them (if I can help it), since she is a cat lady, though to give her cat like eyes anime style. Using DA green and Mithril silver to give her the right touch of cat shimmer, I think I did them right. Her hair was done with a base mix of Red Gore and Chaos Black and then to highlight it by adding more red gore to the mix until the last highlight which had BA red added instead.
Edit: Her eyes have been touched up after this picture was taken...will get another one added soon.
