CSI Mini Diorama Murders

Anyone else get a bit giddy this season on CSI (Las Vegas) with the mini diorama murder episode? It looks like next week\'s episode is another one, so we have a mini diorama serial killer!

I\'ve never watched the show, Or any CSI incarnation.....sounds very cool though. I will have to check it out.

Yeah, I saw that. Should be kind of interesting to see where it goes and the reasoning for making a miniature murder scene.

Is it going to give us a bad name? Make us all look like we\'re insane or something?

Don\'t have any interest in the show.
The display (besides the victim) all appears to be standard doll-house stuff.

Yes, there are people besides us who like tiny displays.

Yes, I know it isn\'t exactly like our obsession with miniatures, but it was fun to see something akin to our hobby in mainstream media. After this and the 40 Year Old Virgin, you could almost say miniature obsession is fashionable. Almost...

I too am curious how they are going to portray this particular murderer\'s psychopathology.

I dunno about that, I seen a review for the Warhammer online game in a popular pub. There was a tagline saying; \"Painting Miniatures is cool! It\'s about time we accepted that!\"

The worm is on the other foot! ...???

Actully I think whoever the writters are on CSI are they must like nerd culture. In previous episodes they have had stories about re-enactors, furries, but in a previous episode they had one where the killed guy had a 25mm painted civil war battlefield set up. I was wondering if they made that special for the episode or they knew some on.

Trust me the original CSI is the best. Plus they have much love for Firefly actors and they have already had Summer Glau and last night Alan Tudye who played a real creepy role.

@beowulfthehunter - Cool, another Firefly fan. That was a fun series. Summer Glau is also a regular on The 4400. Although lower on my \"favorite scifi shows\" list, it has its moments.

@ TBS & treide the was an ad on the radio here iin Iceland that went something like \"and with this new telephone subscription you can have more time to do other things like, swimming, writing and painting warhammer\" teasing of nerds went up becoz of that. but it was a real shok ill tell you sitting there listening to the radio in Iceland where there are mayhap 500 collector/gamers out there and suddenly on the radio WARHAMMER.

Another Firefly fan (Browncoat) here as well. I have the whole series as well as Serenity on DVD.
