hi guys n gals, i would love some critisism on this one.

the gems are quite dark as when i lighted the mini from the front the skin tone changed totally!

it took me 2 hours to get the pictures to this stage (god damn technology)

any way (i\'m rambling again, sorry) heres the link.

Ctitisism... hmm... I am guessing that was supposed to say Criticism.

First off normally if asking for comments I would have many good things to say, such as I couldn\'t do it, but since you are asking for ctitsism I will go with that:

The flesh, most of it is great, but it looks like your shades go darker on the legs then they do on the upper torso and arms.

The browns look flat compaired to the rest of the mini. They don\'t look flat when looked at alone but when looking at the whole picture they don\'t seem as nice as the rest.

The nmm on the axe is great but it looks like it could use some weathering or rust espectially with that chip in in.

As you mentioned the Gems look way too dark but that is probably just hte pic.

Lastly: the white fur looks unshaded.

just had a proper look at thepicture and it has come out nothing like what the mini looks like.

just as i thought i had this technology mastered, damn it.

oh well.

A lot of the mini looks good but you need to do more work on the skin. This is because a few features on the mini are over eggagerated and these features need to be bought out more, especially on the back where some areas are not shaded as well as the others are.

This mini has always cracked me up.
Not a lot of constructive ctitisism here, so I\'ll give you my 2 c worth.
On the fleshtones, all I see are the main flesh color and the dark crevasses. It could be washed out because of the photo though. Happens to me.
Perhaps highlighting the high points with some watered down lighter tone than the main flesh color would help bring up the contrast.
Watering down the paint makes it easier to glaze over other colors for a more blended look. That technique doesn\'t seem to work as well if you\'re using Vallejo paints though, in my opinion.
As everyone else said, the NMM is excellent, and in my opinion, weathering is strictly to taste. I\'ve painted weapons and armor (and people) with and without rust, gore and nicks and scratches.

I\'ll try to give some constructive critism. The only thing i find to be lacking is the skin. If I were i\'d take some dark flesh and basecoat it with that. Then slowly but surely add bits of dwarf flesh to that. Or really just add a bit of shading to the skin.

The NMM is spectacular. Even better than some of the NMM i\'ve seen on the top 100 minis.
