might be ranting on about noghting but i must say... WELL DONE GW! i placed an order with direct sales. after my dad accidently put a typo in his cred card # we had to place a new order no biggy.... after the new order (tuesday) it was just a matter of waiting. well.... its now friday and i just now received my minis! holy crap that was fast! not to mention they gave me a sprue of eldar ranger backpacks for free! (5 backpacks) the eldar ranger i bought (direct sales only) comes with 1... also another model i ordered (witch hunter familure) came with a base... honestly was not expecting that! so all i have to say is cudos GW and a job well done!

Yeah it\'s not uncommon to get some unexpected goodies thrown into a bitz order. I\'ve had it happen a few times.

It\'s especially common with bases... I think I got about 80 bases one time when I was ordering Daemonette bodies for converting into Dryads. They sent both round and square bases (one size for 40k one for Fantasy) and there was about twice as many of each kind as I could have used.

i have to say that i have found their service to be very good. if they cock up they do their best do correct and often throw in a little extra.

I mail ordered a marine Battleforce had 3 mis moulded marines they sent a new Battleforce and let me keep what was left..Now that is massive Kudos to them.....

I always had good luck with GW mail order service.In fact I can\'t ever think of when they made a mistake and Ive gotten extras in many orders.

Direct is quality. Always has been the very best service GW have, which is weird considering how much they pride themselves on their stores.

You can get absolutely anything from them and the bonuses often come because pickers throw in the other bits on instinct quite often, or it\'s more of a chore removing an item from the other bits it is cast up with. You get bases thrown in with any model torso you order, or regiment sprues too.

The guys on the phones are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and much less prone to the bouts of annoying over enthusiasm and over familiarity store guys have.

And since it started they have been doing deliveries in a day or two. Not bad these days, because they actually deliver that service rather than just promising it. When I got into the hobby 16 or so years ago it was so uncommon it made a Mail Order seem really special in a sad kind of way!

So huzzah for direct!

Yup, always been very helpfull and fast on deliveries, and when it comes down to it, I like there mini\'s in general as well. They must be doing something right could be better on the sculpts in places though

I remember when they did a free boxed game with a subscription. I got Epic 40k. It didnt arrive for ages, so they sent another one and told me to keep both.
