Here\'s some links to \'charity watchdog\' sites. I like the first one because it shows an actual breakdown of what percent actually makes it to the supposed recipient and how much goes to running the organization.

Got a second reply back from the charity in question:

The information presented to us gave the appearance that CCF (the organization) was an endorser or supporter of the event instead of a beneficiary of funds.

We appreciate that you contacted us regarding this matter.

So instead of rewording/reworking the press release, either:
The gamers gave up and gave the money to a different charity.
or
The charity flatly refused the money.

Dumb either way.

Yep. I\'m pretty sure that the children in need of any aid care will appreciate their moral standpoint.
