daemonette skin colors

So I just finished with final exams and now I am ready to paint my daemonettes. Trouble is is that I cannot figure out what colors to use! Picking colors is the hardest part of painting for me. Anyone have any suggestions on interesting combinations of base coat, highlight, and shading colors?

I spend a good deal of time personally choosing out color schemes before laying paint on a mini. I kind of relish that part. Always good fun to lay a bunch of inspiration out and get to a nice meshing color scheme.

For Daemonettes, I would think a nice rosy skintone maybe with a hint of purpley red in the shadowy parts but without going fully red...sort of fleshy if you will, maybe with some speckling around the area of the hips and upper thighs, like some Dark Flesh dots like speckled robin\'s eggs.

It might sound odd but what about very pale/silvery gold? Like the swatch for P3 radiant platinum, or something similar.
I saw a dancer on a worldwide showcase of those \'[X country\'s] got talent\' shows (mostly the weirder stuff!), with that colour of body paint. There\'s an idea, I thought; but I\'ve no daemonettes to try it out on...

skin colors for daemonettes

Howdy! No, not really a cowboy, but I do have an idea for your skin tone dilema. I have only recently found the joy of vallejo paint\'s, and for my slannesh 40k army I used vallej model color202, 832 verdigris glaze.

It has the benefit\'s of the glaze medium, work\'s well blended, or run through an airbrush. Plus the light sea foam green color to it already add\'s to the other worldly daemon feel.

It look\'s great with a deep purple, or black contrast, and once highlighted it really pop\'s! I am new to coolminiornot, and I have already learned a ton of new technique\'s from this site. It has made me step up my own skill level, and painting style.

I hope this help\'s you in your quest with color choice, PEACE OUT!:D
