Well, despite everything else going on in my unique mini world, I managed to spend a little time painting up my first figure of 2010 :) . Really enjoyed painting this - I really love the plastics, but thought I'd try to go a little old-school on the colours for it - namely the old Realms of Chaos old school (still some of my prized possession those books!). The base is slightly overkill, but I think it's suitably 'odd'...in a chaos sort of way ;)

Half expected a Blanchesque mess with the old Realms of Chaos mention, but that's lovely.

The purple looks nummy. Tricky colour in blending that innit. Seems that no matter how strong the purple is, a small amount of white added leaps to a larger incremental stage than expected.

Surprising to see a 'Neshi figure that ain't in the typical pastels, but tonally complements that juicy looking claw.
