Daemonhunters question

Okay, I haven\'t got the time to go the store and read this Daemonhunters codex so there is one question I would like to see answered: Can these Daemonhunters work together wit a regular Space Marines army? Are they like some sort of expansion for every space marines army, or are they a seperate army, with some space marine units added to them?

Not really and yet both, they can lead an SM army or be taken as Allies for a SM army. The fluff indicates that the Inquisition can command the assistance from SM Chapters & Imperial Guard. While in the codex there is a reference to Sisters of Battle there is no full description/clarification of their joint actions. From discussions I believe that the intent is that SOB\'s take Inquisitor Deamonhunters as allies and not the reverse.
The next Inquisitor Codex:Witchhunters is rumoured to hold more use for SOB\'s.

The questions really have too long an answer to give easily, the best way to find out, I\'m afraid, is to get hold of the Codex.

I can answer the SoB/DH question. Sisters may take 1 HQ, 2 Troop, 1 Elite and 1 Fast Attack from the Inquisitor rosters, however it is one way. Inquisitors cannot requisition Sisters units although they can take SM or IG units.

you just cant have grey knights if you have space space marines (or daemon hosts)

Buy the Codex! It\'s one of the best they\'ve ever released and it essentially offers three different army lists:

Inquisitor (or Grandmaster) leading Grey Knights
Inquisitor leading Vanilla Marines
Inquisitor leading Vanilla Guard

the way it was explained to me (by the dude at gamesworkshop) is that the space marines cannot have any inquisition forces such as grey knights etc. as just a normal ally. if you want to use both then you have to have the inquisition forces as your main because they take over the HQ. basically anyway!
