Well... this CMON posting\'s getting addictive again. No minis for over a year and two in as many weeks!!

Painted (again) for the Iron Painter comp at wyrd for the theme of Full Metal Jacket.

Was a fun project!

Comments are, as always, appreciated.

Wow, that\'s some fine as all hell NMM on the gretchin weapons.

I prefer your first round entry TBH, but I really, really love it and I have the pic of that entry saved onmy computer for inspiration. You really set the bar high for yourself with that model! I don\'t know if you\'ve seen but someone referenced your pic in the \"Pick a favoriter sculpt\" thread in the General Discussion portion of the boards.

I think if you had more time the work on the actual round would be smoother, but it\'s all top notch and well out of my grasp.

Continuing the ultra critical eye the loin cloth of the Gretchin on the left looks quickly done. An dy\'know I\'m TRYING to find something wrong when I am looking at gretchin sack to pick on things!

The helmet with the famous Born to Kill.... Awesome. Really well done.

A great entry, and I wish you luck! Off to vote and comment....

-edit- Whoa! The bullet was built, not an actual round!?!?! Nice, nice, nice.

I like the light to shadow you did.. and the pistoles look really well thought out and painted. Good color.

The NMM looks fantastic, and overall the scene is highly amusing and very well done.

It\'s funny though, the way you painted the bullet it almost looks like it\'s Photoshopped in! The subdued NMM on the tip and the border on the model where the background was changed really combine to make it look a bit unnatural. Just a funny illusion :p
