(On homosexuality)
Oh no, they are still human, but they have chosen to be evil humans who do not love, but hate. All homos hate their neighbors as they do themselves.

That\'s a bit er....narrowminded not to mention deeply prejudiced.

Some of the poster on there need a good slap.

*EDIT*And it gets worse:

There is very little, if any, difference between a homo, a child molestor, and those who defend them.

I developed a real hate for the person who posted them. And i\'v only read about 4 or 5 of his/her/its posts.

I try to stay away from those kind of sites, because it will consume a lot of time of me being angry. I was on one forum argumentating about the holocaust as well and that made me so angry so I have a half dozen books read through on the subject.

Sometimes I get angry here as well, you can often tell it by me being an arrogant twat. But people seem to be so much more reasonable on this forum for some reason. Still I have thought of staying away from threads that fuel my emotion.

But on the other hand somebody have to say stop (from either side)! I think we have to bother or else clicks will form that doesn\'t communicate with each other.

I\'ve just seen a great post that amounted to little more than \"I CANT COUNTER YOUR ARGUMENT SO I\'M JUST GOING TO CHERRY PICK YOUR QUESTIONS AND THROW BIG WORDS AT YOU UNTIL YOU STOP!!!!\" lol

Oh. God. I just read some of the posts. I\'m thinking of getting a user. But maybe not.

Someone using \"dumb\" or \"fool\" in each response and that it at then shows utter ignorance to the subject matter... that\'s ehm. fun. It\'s all about projection I guess.

I do remember one biology teacher getting me so angry. She claimed I had inaccurately drawn an evolutionary tree. That the traits I decided were linked weren\'t the correct ones. Since I do not believe in macro evolution, I simply pointed out that her certainty was odd as the things that she purported to be gospel on how this creature evolved into these different creatures happened \"millions of years ago.\" I doubt she was around to watch it and know exactly what happened. I did not do well on the evolution part of that biology class.

Another similar question that i have is \"If no one can be sure about what the weather will be like next week, how are they so certain about what the weather will be like in 30 years?\"
Back to topic, i think you will find that extremists come in all shapes and sizes. The fundamentalist of Islam, that the western world demonises are probably no more fundamental than those Christians in the American Mid-West. I am an atheist who borders onto buddhism from time to time, who has no patience for christianity in it\'s current form. However i have a friend who is a Presbyterian minister\'s daughter and we have great theological discussions. She doesn\'t try to convert me, she tells me about why she believes in what she does.
Mind you i have never understood the fundamental nuts objection to homosexuality. I know it has to do with God created man and woman and all that, but doesn\'t Jesus tell his follower to love your neighbour as you love yourself?

Aye, it does say that he said that. The Bible also says Jesus said \'judge with righteous judgment\' or some such. Needless to say, righteous judgment becomes \'holier than thou\' judgment, which in turn becomes a complete hatred. The site is nuts.

I may have written \'my cat\'s breath smells of cat food\' in response to a meaningless thread some fella started. It was an exercise in pointlessness as I then showed him in my next post. Announcing his future stance on Hydroplate Theory he was, but in such a way he thought the whole world show know where he stood before the next discussion arose. I took the line that no-one should particularly care about that stance as it isn\'t life-changing in anyway at all.

It may have been that, or it could have been another response to a post that cast doubt on whether anyone would read (\'in their right mind\' if I recall) a post before his. I did, however, and simply stated that I had read it. Some other wag (completely expected and played for) responded with a dig about right minds, me replying, etc. I then pointed out that it takes an idiot to bite on a hook as big as that, and he fell for the line and bait as well as the hook. Calling a bloke an idiot is deemed as ban-worthy yet all day long you see people spouting intolerance from every orifice over there.

Anyway, I\'m surprised at the response to this thread. I thought it would die a quiet death.

The thing is, they mix religion and politics on that site. And, being Bible Belt, they see even normal Socialists like me as Commies. They can\'t separate anything into component parts. Black and white is all they see.

And anyway, why do YEC types get so hung up on the age of the Earth? What has that got to do with eternal matters after death? If indeed there is anything eternal after death whatsoever...

And as it is linked to religion and politics the intellectual dishonesty is all over the place as well. People that know what they were talking about would only raise those kinds of argument if they are being dishonest. But on the other hand it happens everywhere and the average bloke won\'t have the tools to counter that kind of arguments if they are not deliberately searching for them... (reading books) which they probably won\'t do if their faith depends on that basis. There are so many fundamental misunderstandings going on about science and evolution for example so it seems to be problematic where to start.

When it comes to the questioned posed in this thread I can encourage people to read themselves and do as any good scientist would do. Try to disprove their own thesis. Like if knowing the weather of next week is the same as knowing the climate of 30 years. Or if Micro and macro evolution really is something you can separate between. And what kind of separation are we then talking about?
