I\'m sitting here creating a website for a friend of a friend and listening to a new CD I purchased... I only noticed it after the CD stopped but while it was playing my productivity was about 75% higher than usual!

The CD is \"This is the life\" by Amy MacDonald.

It\'s a bit poppy but obviously she\'s got some talent and actually sounds like a more cheerful version of Dolores O\'Riordan from the Cranberries (who I think absolutely rocks).

Anyway... Long story short, I recommend anyone to have a good listen, it\'s got to be worth a few minutes of your life.

What other CDs do this to you by the way? what really give you a lift and make you feel energetic?

But not so energetic that all you can do is stand there and mosh lol

For going to bed a 3 in the morning, then getting up at five to finish gcse maths coursework, i relyed heavily on the louder red hot chili peppers and some supertramp (breakfast in america).

depends what i am doing. like a bit of nin for sci fi panting. classical, oriental and soundtracks (ie gladiator) as well but mostly for fantasy

n othing could make my productivity go up 75% though. you must be REALLY slacking off to start with!

I watch Stargate (SG-1 and Atlantis) while I\'m painting - a LOT of Stargate. I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder, however, so the extra visual stimulation helps me focus better than just music.

I don\'t get much done. Probably because I listen to the Blues all day.

That probably reduces my productivity by 75%.

I don\'t actually paint Space Marines any more but I used to listen to \"Hammer to Fall\" by Queen on repeat (yes, same song over and over and over and over) while painting marines...

Ahh my teen years. :drunk:

I quite like having LOTR Two Towers or Return of the King. I am more busy during the slower sections so i can sit down and watch the exciting parts.

I need some sort of sound. If my wife is not at home to talk to, i will turn on the TV even if there is only motor racing or fishing shows.

Amys good, never listened whilst me brushes were wet...but I think it\'s the song \'this is the life\' with the catchy chorus that I babble because I don\'t know the last lines of it hehe, should really look them up as it\'s bugging me now :)
