Dante, in metals

I\'m not really fond of NMM. So, unusually, my Dante\'s done in metallics (blended from a mix of VMC chocolate brown and bronze right the way up to mithril silver). Was fun.

Looks great. I think you could push the shading a bit more, but its a good job.

Could you give some detail on the successive mixes used? I had a play with this yesterday but with way too much chocolate. Well actually I think it looks pretty good but I'm aiming for a finish much like yours (for a company of Brazen Minotaurs).

Wow, necrothreading a bit guys...

The mixes were:
VMC chocolate brown / VMC bronze (about 50-50 - it's like a slightly metallic brown, but covers pretty opaquely)
VMC bronze
VMC bronze / VMC old gold
Gryphonne sepia and devlan mud glaze down / directed washes
VMC old gold / mithril silver highlights
Pure mithril silver for extreme highlights
