not too far from finishing this guy, need to work on the feet, sculpt somethin on the bare leg, and then do a DA cpatain style cloak goin from the pistol shoulder over the back and flowing out with his crozious, the rosarius will be the pin for it, and build pipes and hydrollics up for the torso, other than that it ur typical cheesy DA

Some of your best work so far if you ask me. My only concern is that he needs a bolter-plasma combi weapon to be legal for the table top. And I think table top legality is a requirement for Golden Demons now isn\'t it? I don\'t know if you ever plan on taking it there, but if you did it would suck to get disqualified for something like that!

Is that a Berserker head or something? I know I\'ve painted it before, but I haven\'t really done much 40k Chaos stuff in the last 6-7 years

Very cool. I like how you did the plasma gun, but if you\'re taking it to GD or some other large comps. it may be an issue like Jericho said. Conversion is great so far, I\'ll definitely be checking this for progress. I used the same chaos skull bit for the shoulder pad on my chaplain conversion as well. The head seems a bit of an odd choice to me but I\'ll wait to see the end result before I commit to an opinion.

It looks a tiny bit small, but I really like it actually. I think it will paint up nicely in the bone white Chaplain style.

i originally wanted a plasma gun, but i also wanted it legal, so i shortened the gun and am trying to make it look like a master crafted plasma pistol, a nice big chunky one :flip:

the head is a little small but hopefully it makes the rest look bigger lol

Can terminators field plasma pistols?

And chaplains are normally in all black, with one their right pad painted in the chapter badge colours.

yes they can field plas pistols, and no am not goin to follow the tradiational way of paiting the chap

actaully terminators cannot use any pistols. the new dark angels book states that when the interogator chaplain takes termy armour he replaces all eqiptment with the armour, crosius, and then lists the options he may now choose from.


other than that, it looks sweet.

No one in termy armour can have pistol weapons - no asterisk in the wargear section. BUT he can have a bolter-plasma combiweapon. Maybe incorporate a bolter somewhere, if not on the model itself why not a have gun servoskull following him round? That would look sweet and fit in nicely with the bionics etc

I like Undave\'s suggestion. Having a bolter somewhere else on the model should be enough for a \"counts as\" combi plasmagun. Servoskull is possible, or even just having a bolter hanging from his belt or something could work.

At any rate, I look forward to seeing this guy completed
