Dark Elf Cold one Knight - Local Competition entry

Hi folks,

Just wanted some thoughts on my Dark elf knight. It is for a locaal online community competition.

I have tried to up my game a bit with this one, trying to pay as much attention as possible to colour composition and getting the little details painted etc, an my layering with thinner colours to get smooth blends etc.

I am just painting whatever i can get my hands on to get better and better to go to my first GD maybe next year.

Aim of getting past the first round of glances and maybe a small sticker for a second look, but nothing more, i dont expect to even get into the final judging table for a few years at least, but i want to push myself to a level where i have a chance at coming home with something one day.

Very nice. I would suggest maybe reworking the bushes a bit. Seem a bit too uniform in height.

Pretty decent. The white on the banner looks a bit thick.

cheers folks, i know the white is a bit thick on the half moon side of the banner, ideally i should have repainted over that and done something else, but you live and learn.

Basing is my achillies heel, getting that to look more realistic is the next stage in my skills toolbox.
