Hello Everyone... I was really busy recently, changing job, moving 1800km away but still in the same country and I had to finish this commission. I started 5 months ago with an objective to do a full NMM Dark elves Bloodwrack... Actually it was insane knowing the number of blades and gold a bit everywhere... I learnt from it and my NMM skills increased!

I hope you like it!

That's really impressive! How did you paint that mirror surface behind the Medusa?

what i`m really curious about, that how you achieved that intense green colour. Did airbrush was used here? comented and voted, too.

Actually for the mirror I followed, as requested by customer, GW design. I ahve started with a really light blue base coat. Then I have darkened the blue and apply several layers (using feathering technique with a moist brush) pushing the paint in the direction I wanted (darker edge). Then I darkened more and more until a really dark blue to the edge. For the freehand I have used a white color with some Flowaid from liquitex to avoid painting to dry on the brush.

Yes I have base coat it with different green from Scale75 (Green set), base coat, highlight and shadow applied with airbrush. Then I have painted the details one by one, each scales...

Great work mate, youve really put the hours in on this one.
Voted.

Thank you 10!

It looks awesome. Its pretty hard to criticize but I guess I could take a swing. Mostly just nitpicking. The base is a little plain compared to how amazing the piece is. Maybe the forward facing portion of the steps could've been picked out a bit more...wraps up everything I had to add.

Thank you for your feedback and criticism. Appreciated.
You are right the base is quite plain, but it was a request from the customer to have it simple just with some sand and grass. On the other hand the chariot is so big that you don't have much place on the playing base especially to make it look realistic because you need some kind of road but the wheel of the chariot are almost at the border of the base so it doesnt leave much place.
And yes for the stairs, this piece is so big... So many small details, blades, etc... That at the end you are lost and miss some of them. I would have need another couple of tenth of hours to make it look better but i simply could not.
It was my tougher project to date!

:) Thats the way of most things, just not enough time to do everything. You handled the challenge really well by the look of it :)

Wow! This one really slaps me across the eyeballs! Lovely eye-poppin' color!

Gorgeous paint.

Looks like a graphic novel come to life.
