I really want to avoid this thread as just being a plain pimping of one of my minis. (Hey I\'m still going to do it anyway.) But I want to concentrate on the mini itself, not my poor attempt at painting it. (But feel free to vote and give me suggestions for improvement.) I\'ll start with the standard picture and link.

This was defintely one nice mini to paint. The chainmail had fantastic detail. The hair has good detail. Even the face, which I really didn\'t do all that well still has lots of potential detail. For a 35mm mini, this has a lot of fantastic painting potential. A good blend of armor and clothing types and a very interesting weapon. It may be to \"historical\" to appeal to some gamers, but that\'s a \"cross\" all mini painters have to bear at some time. (OK I\'ll stop the puns now.)
The base is odd, rough patch of what I suppose should be grass with rock sourround, but compared to the other companies and their brocolli or their flowery bases I suppose it\'s just as boring as any other. My attempt at vile grass (basically I use a glitter green paint and it looks like poison ivy) doesn\'t come out too well in the photogaph.
