Dark Sword Miniatures...

Did anyone else ordered from Dark Sword Miniatures?

I placed an order (online) with them 2 weeks ago (still waiting for the parcel) and sent at least 2 emails but hasn\'t got a reply yet.

Am I too impatient or should I cancel my orders?

Reapers, I-kore and Dark Age are prompt (okie, quite prompt) to reply and their orders normally are in within 7-10 days.

Advice:
(1) For those obscure companies, do you even order from them?
(2) How long do you wait before delivery?
(3) If not, how can you cancel your credit card transaction? Once the bill reaches you, there\'s only 7 days to dispute it. Otherwise, can you still revoke such a transaction?

Where did you order them? I only saw the box containing the limited edition (gold) mini, but this was a bit too expensive IMO. Are the normal sets available already? can\'t seem to find a link to order those on their official homepage...

I waited ages for mine....... Actually I waited so long that I had forgotten I had ordered them until they arrived :bouncy:

They allow orders for the non-special edition for set #1. It\'s at US$29.90.

One catch, Alliance-Games only takes orders from distributors but not consumers. Hence, you have to check with your local store if they stock up from Alliance-Games.

Thanks for the help Inge. I was being a bit lazy I have to admit. I have ordered a set though so now I can sit back and get paranoid like mouse for a couple of weekslol

Set #1 is barely released (mid-July) and Set #2 is September. I got some sets early for some promotional events we held in June/July, and Dark Sword will be at Gen Con where you can see my painted version of Set #2 at their booth.

Give them some time, and be sure to ask your local retailer!

Can\'t wait to see what they do next!

I haven\'t had any trouble getting responses from Dark Sword Miniatures. Specifically, I\'ve been dealing with Jim for the last few weeks and, admittedly, sometimes there\'s a bit of a lag on responses that makes me bite my nails, but I think that\'s because I don\'t have a full time job (and hence, not alot to do but dink around at home sometimes), and he probably has a real job in addition to this miniature manufacturing company, so you have to give some leeway, right?

I don\'t think we can expect the same kind of prompt service and immediate response from a small company that, as far as I intuit from the website, is being run by one person. He probably has a real job too, which takes up alot of his daytime hours.

They arrived! Very, very nice. I ordered two boxes and they only sent one, but I can understand that. Must check credit card statement however!!
