Darkening browns

Sorry to link another forum post but this
is my WIP thread...

I just asked the question, how do I go about shading Graveyard Earth? I tried adding black but I got a rather nasty green/olive shady, would this work or does any one have some advice? :)

Thanks, :drunk::drunk::drunk:

And just to makie it confusing... Scorched Brown CAN be shaded with black! Basically, Graveyard Earth is too \"yellow\" (it appears to be an ochre) and yellows turn dirty and green when you add black to them.

Purple is always nice in small quantity
otherwise if it\'s a bit greensih shade with red :) Dark red.
WARNING : That is for advanced painters! It\'s really easy to make the end result look like a mess with that technic ;).

Lots of ideas to try, I\'m gonna go with Scorched Brown (I thought that wouldn\'t work but I\'ll give it a shot!).

Got a bunch of other rangers to paint too so I\'ll try some other ones too!

Many thanks! :drunk:
