Das Boot multiuse?

Playing against my girlfriend when we came into an argument about multiple uses of Das Boot.
She played Hobsbawm, Seth and Chaz, with the boots equipped on Chaz.

She started by attacking with Hobsbawm (magic attack) and not moving, thus being able to activateg another character, Seth. She ment she could move Chaz once after attacking with Hobsbawm and then once more after moving with Seth. I felt this was wrong, allowing you to use the boots once once each turn.

Which of us is right, and why do you think so?

It would depend on the wording of Das Boots, I don't have my game with me, so I can't check, but I believe it is someting about moving after activating another hero, so I would side with your grilfriend on thsi one, since there are multiple activations that she would get to move twice. Once right after Hobspawn attacks and then after Seth's activation.
Keep in mind though that Das Boots only allows her to move, she can't pick up quest tokens, open doors, etc. This also does activate guard reactions unless stated otherwise.

This is just my opinion though, make a house rule with your gaming group if you don't like it. :)

I believe she is correct as the wording states when you activate another hero you may move this hero 1 space. so you get to use the boots one time during hobsbawm's activation and then again when you get to activate the second hero off of hobsbawm's ability.

We've been playing it the same way, with one slight diffrence -
as far as I can recall the wording is "When you activate a hero" - so Das Boot's movement occurs as soon as you activate the other hero, before he moves or attacks.
