Das modeling putty

Has anyone here ever used Das modeling putty? I bought it at micheals craft store.

I was going to get sculpey, but it was a little higher, and Das air dries.

It is imported from somewhere, didn\'t try and figure it out. I had to look for the other languages section of the wrapper to find an english translation, and all it said was it air dries.

Anyone else here ever try it? I hate having to bake sculpey, but it does get very hard. Hopefuly this stuff will do the same.

I\'ve used it, years ago and a friend of mine uses it quite a bit. Mainly for filling gaps and building up areas when making scenery. Its more like a clay and is quite moist - gets white stuff all over your hands. As far as I remember it dries quite hard but can be a bit brittle.

Thats good enough for me then. No baking, dries hard, is cheaper than sculpey.

It is mainly for terrain anyways, but I may try it on modelling.

das is pretty crap for modelling, it\'s a bit fibrous and brittle. for terrain though, it\'s top notch. although, if you can get it, claydium is usually cheaper and a little smoother in my opinion
