Yes Onis, this year I went to Phoenix Con for the first time and witnessed some sights that many should not witness. First, there were girls in bikinis that really didn\'t need to be. I\'m cute lookin\' and all and a pretty average size but I still wouldn\'t be caught dead in either a chainmail or fur bikini. It\'s just wrong! Blech!
Second, most of the guys I talked to were my friends working there. They are like my brudders so that would just be weird . . . not to mention they just aren\'t my type.
Third, it\'s still a somewhat pitiful con. Phoenix Con really needs to put the effort forward and crank it up a notch. If they could get some painters with decent reputations willing to teach painting classes I think they\'d have more of a crowd. Also, getting some guests to make appearances for autographs and what not . . . I mean, is Nathan Fillion really that busy these days?
Cons are never good for meeting guys. I was too busy anyway working for Crunch Waffle. Pretty much just held down the fort painting CW minis there to answer questions when Dan was demoing the game with the minis. Anyway, I have a rule about picking guys up at cons. The past two times it hasn\'t gone so well. They turn out to be nutters . . .
