Hail to all!

This is my first post here.
I'd wish to share my painting and feeling about miniature.
If there is any feedback, of course, welcome.
(and sorry for my bad English)

The Fallen Angel from Hell Dorado.

Simple color setting. I love this mini.
She looks prudish on the surface, however, she seems violent within.
The fingers and face expression contradict to the plain dressing and posture.
Great interpretation for a fallen angel.

This is almost done. All I need now is a fair base.

Really nice, like the ghostly colour scheme. In all i think this is beautifully painted but some of the darkest shadows such as those under the LH shoulder and by the right hand are a little sudden and not blended as well as the rest of the mini.

Other than that - super effort, I love the eyes. What are your thoughts on the base??

Cheers

After some consideration, I decided to make the base as a kind of bad land, a life-less, ruin-like one.
So I used the egg shell, plaster, and some glue to deal with the base.

I mixed the white glue with plaster to slow down the time for plaster to dry.
And made it much easier to deal with.

Finally, it's on CMON now.

And more, I am work forward for my next WARMACHINE Retribution caster.
This time I made the base first.

Yeah thats a nice base, green stuffing there is very good. Do you polish your minis with brass wire brush? It looks nice and shiny. I polished my first mini a while back, I have yet to paint it, but it will be the first mini I have used this prep technique on and I am interested to see how much difference a better prepared surface is able to make to my painting.

Yes, I usually polish my minis with brass brush before paint. I do wish to remove the rust on minis.
