I agree with Marjedi , he is so brilliantly made but looks like he is laying a cable, even if his torso was twisted slightly around might hide this . Again awesome sculpting.

Thx guys, i finaly got some of my mojo back...although im hoping im not going to burn out again by doing too much all at once, i have this on the go as well as the spacemarine chaplin and another conversion of the 120mm forgeworld spacemarine (plasma cannon) shh nobody knows :)

painted in the details on the knuckle joints etc, the golden shin pads and the golden fleece part of the cloak..i also noticed there were a few rivets missing here and there...they arent anymore. overall progress is good. was thinking red for the cloak with gold detailing not sure about the loin cloth should i do that red also or white and blue....

Looking good Cassar. I can't imagine working on a space marine at this scale.

Red and beige would certainly be traditional for ultramarines cloaks. Maybe red on the outer with the gold detailing, and beige on the inside and the loincloth?

thx mate :) will try to live up to the expectation.

in the mean time spent a lot of time faffing with masking tape then paint this fiddly bit then the fiddly bit next to it..lol you get the picture im sure.

i have been going over and over chips and small areas were the paints wore off, the white primer i used is proper dung wonrt be using that again. I can see me having to constantly patch until the varnish goes on.
