Just read this. Fantastic book.
If you have ever been a child in Britain you WILL enjoy this.

Set in 1982 it charts 13month of a 13yr olds life from childhood into adolescence. Covering family strife, dealing with his stammer, the Falklands and ofcourse...girls!

Brilliantly funny and very precisely written.
Quite possibly one of the best books I have read. (Apart from The Wasp Factory ofcourse!)

I have a feeling Reverend will enjoy this judging by some of the stuff he has read.

(And no it isn\'t the same David Mitchell of Peep Show fame)

Never read Adrian Mole, but I have heard of it and assume it\'s written as a comedy?

This is more serious, but its the preciseness of the situations and feelings of the character that are funny. They are spot on and relate to everyone who was ever a kid at school.
