Just watched that trailer.

Absolutely loved the opening warning:

What?!? You are bagging Relic? I will almost not stand for this. They at least changed the game play between Homeworld, DOW and COH. Between Warcraft 2 and Starcraft, what was there to differentiate them? ??? I was feeling nostalgic the other day and got out Starcraft and i really struggled to get the motivation to play past the first 4 levels.

@Peteh, of course Blizzard aren\'t going to change the game style too much with Starcraft2. They have too much to lose from the South Koreans if they do.

Speaking of Video games has anyone seen this: Spore?

I picked up the creature creator the other day and am having a blast.

I created this little guy the other day.

Now that would be a cute mini.

The gist of the game is you start off as a single cellular creature, customize to evolve, become a creature, evolve, to tribal level, to civilization up to interstellar travel. Including terraforming or interplanetary war.

Spore the game that\'s been in development longer then some of it\'s eventualy players will have been alive. It was announced back in the 90\'s and still isn\'t out. I was all hyped about it, but since then have pretty much given up on it.

As for DOW, I got bored after half of Winter Assault. I found it really lacked strategy and depth compaired to other RTS out there. Seemed to be more about build a ton of units, run in, gain some ground, loose a bunch, re-build your army, repeat.

Isn\'t that the standard IG/Orks tactic?

Maybe I wouldn\'t know, I haven\'t actually played 40K since The Genestealer Cult Army was the hot new thing. All I know is that it was not very much fun.
