But are you sure Tammy (and others)? I have just searched Brimingham.org.uk for events and the 2nd or the 3rd october is no sports event planned.... I hope not as I do not wish to spend time on the pavement
Sooo... hoping the site is right I am definately up for some beers on saturday.

good to hear that everyone is really getting exited about gd this year ,that\'ll make it even more fun for everyone attending,i was planning to go by plane myself but we are going with a hole group of nut cases,so the bussride there will be great fun!,i really don\'t mind sitting i the bus that long(it really helps if you\'re able to sleep anywhere anytime!),oh and a quick word of advice(to all that don\'t already no):get your model on display as fast as you can, it\'s gonna be verry hectic indeed this year(i think this will be the biggest games day ever!,greetings to all

Seems that as it is now i won\'t make it afterall. The guy who was supposed to arrange the tickets backed out and now the prices have risen a lot. Also my brother backed out at the last moment and i don\'t really wanna go alone! So if anybody needs a couple of GD tickets then contact me, we might be able to work something out.

Shame to hear this..... So I gather that money is an issue? Because it is not impossible to get a boatfare on such short notice. This is not even that expensive, but you need to arrange a place to stay on saturday (seeing as you probably don\'t want to leave in the night you have to leave saturday....) and of course transportation to Birmingham....
All of this might cost quite some dough. I regret I have no room in the car anymore
Maybe there\'s someone else here with ideas?

Well it\'s all a dissapointment at the moment. I guess i could travel alone and money isn\'t really the problem. It\'s more the fact that when you make agreements 3 months ago to go and they all back out at the last moment. I was really excited to go, but all this has gotten me down a bit!
The only bright side to it is that i wasn\'t so satisfied with my entries yet and i only could enter two instead of the number i was planning to. Now i can work on them and enter even more categories next year! I always start at the last moment but now i\'m on a roll and if i just can hang on to painting regulary who knows what levels i can achieve.
So guys, unless an angel pee\'s over my shoulder and a miracle happens , untill that time i\'ll meet up with you all next year! (Both Uk and Germany!)

I\'ve got a good mentality about the competition this year, since I know I haven\'t been able to put the time into my entries that I would have liked to: If I don\'t place, then I know there is \'more in the tank\' so to speak, and that I can do better next year, if I do place Bonus

well, since Avicwenna has infected me with the plague(and the rest of the infamous 5 apparently), I MIGHT not be going.... depends, i\'m doing conversion/sculpting work in bed today, and I hope that my cold is bearable enough tomorrow to do osme painting. it\'s so typical really, finally getting oging on my entries, i get ill....a conspiracy i tells you

Tammy, you have a week and a half to recover and get your stuff painted.
As for commissions, just tell them that it\'s in their best interests to let you work on demon entries once you are alive again as their figures will be worth more if painted by \'Golden Demon Winner\' Tammy Haye.
