The Police are back on tour - meh.

But the Spice Girls are getting back together - is this not a sign of the fall of western civilization?

At least at the end the Monkee\'s played their own instruments and wrote their own songs.

Here we come, walk down the street, get the funniest look from - everyone we meet...

Hey hey we\'ve no talent!
People say we monkey around!
We\'re too busy schmoozing,
To care about anybody else... :p

Hehehe - Agreed - the Monkees were great, the other two weren\'t.

The thing I\'ve always found funniest about the Monkees is that they\'re accused of being no talent hacks - yet they all had music careers before being cast on the show. And they still sell albums - not sure the last time I actually saw a Spice Girls album in the store.

If you take a look at what new talents the mainstream music business have to offer I can understand that there is a market for all these reunions and comebacks of past-timers.

Surprisingly, no! The Spice Girls reunion is NOT a sign of the fall of western civilization!

Just the mere fact that the Spice Girls exist, that\'s the sign. :p

What reunion do we want to see?

I sure as hell wanna see the return of such classic acts as 5ive, Steps, S club 7, A1, 2Unlimited, The Venga Boys, NSync and of course when will Britney Spears ever get herself back together? lol

I was actually excited that Spice Girls are getting back together, but then again i was 12-14 when they started and LOVEEEEED them, as well as NSYNC, although i don\'t want them to get back together because Justin is just too famous to need to stoop to that. And he was the highlight of that group, so since you can see him live now, no need to drag him down with the likes of Joey, Lance, Chris and JC (yeah, i did like em enough to remember their names)

Anyone remember the Spice Girls movie?

i actually like them and i am 30. its probably because i used to watch their videos in college at 2 in the morning and found them slightly arousing.

As a 27 year old I have to agree with Uberdark, upon discovery of the Spicegirls, the word \'sixsome\' became overley used in my vocabulary!

And it was babyspice for me !

Hey, Ive been a Police fan for years... all because Sting got greedy and stubborn and left the band doesn\'t mean they were no talent hacks... Stewart Copeland\'s drumming is some of the best in rock!!
How can you not like songs like The Bed\'s Too Big Without You, Born in the 50\'s, and Every Little Thing She Does...
Now Sting\'s solo stuff, that\'s a different story... teehee anyways
Im going to go see them on Thursday here in Chicago, and its going to rrrrrockxanne!!!!

Oh and blearg on the Spice Girls, and the Monkees were pretty good, at least Mike Nesmith was a funny guy~

Personally I hope that the Led Zeppelin one shot reunion goes so well that they do the tour scene.

We really need some good bands to get back together.

Edit - Not that I really hate the Police - have several of their albums - but I do agree that Sting has gotten a bit pretensious lately

Oh, please, bring back the Archies. That would be as good as the Monkees.

Or how about Paul Revere and the Raiders?
