Death Korps of Krieg color scheme test

Finally managed to paint my first death korps model. It\'s just a test model, though, with two sides and color schemes so I can more easily decide on the final color scheme (Well, I can\'t, and this is where you come in). Please take a look at the different schemes here and here.

I\'m afraid I\'m not as great a photographer as I believed I were, which leads to many of my carefully painted highlights having disappeared. In fact I guess I should use stronger shades and highlights on my future death korps models. They are, after all, meant for gaming!

As for criticism I\'d suggest diluting your paint a pit more, loks quit thick on the pics.

I think the green one with some grass or other plantlife on the base.

They\'re actually both nice and have their individual qualities; I guess it depends on what type of atmosphere you\'re trying to create with them.

I would probably go with the green though; it has a nice, gritty feel to it. I would consider changing the camo pattern on the helmet, but this is simply a matter of taste.

Agreed, the first model is overall far superior with the exception of that experiment gone wrong on the helmet. I would suggest a grey or black helmet. possibly with a toned down insignia on the side of it if you feel like getting creative.
