Thought you might like to see the latest from my paint brushes There are a few things I am not happy with on this one the green being one of them.

This was a nightmare to put together, the arms had to be pinned in place before painting and the gun painted completly seperate. The gun was put in place once the figure was finished and stuck to the base but before varnishing and had to be jiggled into place without damaging it.

Had a go at making the the gunner look as if the trenches were starting to take affect on his clothing I think it turned out OK.

always nice to see you improving mini by mini mate.

i always varnish the pices seperate if i have painted parts seperately as it means you don\'t have to be as gentle when putting it together then. (that, and i have acid for sweat, my fingers can strip a mini from 10 paces. you want to see what it does to my guitar strings)

love the work on the mud. Good mini, tho\' I don\'t play the games it would be used for.

Looking great though I wouldn\'t have imagined they\'d be such a git to put together. Live and Learn.

Given it\'s a colour test I\'ll pick on that. I think it works damned well, especially with the weathering, except for the green, just looks like it needs a bit more shading or some weathering itself to break up the block of colour. Favourite part has to be the mask though, it really stands out and adds that extra \"pop\" and a focus point.

i still reckon a nice rich red would compliment the blue better than the green! the great coat is beautifully well done too. the base, however, looks more grainy than muddy to me, maybe if it were darker and finer, it would match up with the cool mud on his coat (mucky bugger)

I\'m not that corrosive but in this case I had to put it all together before varnishing as I had already broken the stock of the weapon twice whilst cleaning it up prior to painting.

The model comes with both arms and the rock seperate so I had to pin and glue the arms in a dry run prior to priming as one arm holds the trigger and handle and the other arm rests on the stock plus you have to try and get the angle right so that the legs of the weapon rest on the rock.

Trust me it wasn\'t easy to achieve and took me several goes before I was happy with it.

the mini is really nice, love the weathering.
The gun and base are another matter, the gun really could use more work, and the green dosn\'t work that well for me.
And the base, could also use some more work.

Nice work Im too hung over to read the other comments so if I repeat them sorry.

Two things about this mini.
1. The struts dont seem to be sitting on the ground properly
2. The grren is too bright.

The thing I like about this mini tho is the weathering. Its very well done. The coat also looks very good.

I think it excellent except for the green, I think you should chose a different color for those parts. IMO it doesn\'t have to be that strong/bright to be a contrasting/difference making color.

I reckon leave the gun casing green but paint that great big cartridge as metal. Otherwise lookin mighty fine
